A Note on the Future of APlusPhysics.com:
To everyone who has learned, taught, or simply explored physics here: thank you.
When I started APlusPhysics.com roughly 20 years ago, I hoped to build a place where students and teachers could find clear explanations, practice problems, and a bit of encouragement along the way. Watching it grow into a resource used by learners around the world has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and so much of that growth came from your questions, feedback, and enthusiasm.
As the site has matured, the landscape around it has changed. Keeping an interactive website secure today takes more time and resources every year, while the time I'm able to devote to ongoing development has become more limited. After a lot of thought, I've made some changes to keep the site healthy and focused on what matters most.
What's changing: I've retired the interactive forums and blogs. While they hosted some wonderful discussions over the years, recent activity had slowed, and these areas had become a constant target for spammers and hackers. Removing them lets me direct my energy toward the parts of the site that continue to help the most people.
What's staying: The core of APlusPhysics remains. The tutorials, study materials, and videos (both those hosted on the site and on the APlusPhysics YouTube channel) will continue to be available, and my current plan is to maintain them going forward.
To the students who worked through problems late at night, the teachers who shared the site with their classes, and everyone who contributed to the community: I'm deeply grateful. I hope APlusPhysics continues to be a helpful companion on your physics journey for years to come.
With appreciation,
Dan
